Interestingly, even Hollywood stars Sylvester Stallone and Denise Richards won the “Baawra Ho Gaya Hai Ke” (Have you gone muts) Award for participating in “Kambakkht Ishq” alongside Kareena and Akshay Kumar. The movie also won the worst film award, thus bagging in the highest number of ‘worst’ awards.

Priyanka victim of child marriage

Priyanka Chopra is essaying 12 different characters in her upcoming film What's Your Rashee. In one of the roles Priyanka portrays the character of Jhankana, who is a naive village girl and a victim of child marriage. Priyanka is donning a village girl look, complete with two tales and a sari with dark make up.

The actress looks exactly like Balika Vadhu’s Anandi, the striking similarities like pigtails and Rajasthani pallu and bandhani ghagra.

And oh! Did we mention even poor Jhankana is a victim of child marriage just like Anandi! Coincidence? We don’t think so! Now silver screen is getting on with the trend and cashing in on the hot topic of child brides.

The film is directed by the noted director Ashutosh Gowarikar and produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Sunita A. Gowariker and is based on US based Gujarati writer Madhu Rye's novel Kimball Ravenswood and the film also stars Harman Baweja in the lead role.

Priyanka Chopra brand ambassador for Nokia recently endorsed its brand Nokia 5310 with the intention to create deep connections with its young and style savvy users.

Herman Baweja's documentary premiers at Cannes

Herman Baweja's Victory may not have been victorious at the box office but it did help the newcomer in more ways than one. Apparently, critically acclaimed director Pan Nalin was impressed with Herman's performance in the film and signed him on for a documentary that he was directing titled Echo of Eco. Now this very documentary was screened at this year's Cannes Film Festival and Herman couldn't have been happier.

The documentary Echo of Eco is a part of United Nations Patronage Project, where 30 filmmakers from different parts of the world are invited to volunteer for making 'Save Our Environment' films.

Each short film will be showing in an artistic way their message to Save the Planet. From India, Pan Nalin has been invited to join the league of international filmmakers and celebrities.

Echo of Eco stars Herman Baweja along with Ferena Wazier and Ilya Pandya. Speaking about choosing Hurman for the lead role, Pan Nalin says, "Echo of Eco's lead role is that of a young Indian software millionaire, who loses everything in the current Economic Meltdown like many others in recent times, he too decides to kill himself. Herman has right look, besides when producer Deepika Gandhi and Mihir Upadhyaya contacted the actor, he read the script and got ready to participate. Herman Baweja even found dates from his busy back-to-back schedule from Ashutosh Gowarikar's new film."

Even producer Mihir Upadhyaya was all praise for Herman. "Herman was quick to understand the message of the film and promptly agreed to join us. I found this gesture of Hurman filled with humility and responsibility." Well, let's hope this short film does for Herman what Victory and Love story 2050 couldn't.

Harman Baweja "Way to Go"

Harman Baweja's first two attempts might have met with harsh comments all over, he may have been written off by many in the film industry and audiences alike after his debut film, Love Story 2050, as well as second film, Victory, bombed at the box office badly but there’s still hope for the actor.

Boney Kapoor productions and Anees Bazmee directed It’s My Life, produced by Sanjay Kapoor starring Harman and Genelia D’Souza, Nana Patekar in the lead, is being readied for release and this may probably be Harman’s third film to hit the screens, if not Ashutosh Gowariker’s What’s Your Raashee?

Who have seen some songs of It’s My Life claims that Anees has presented the hero in a very dynamic way. “The audience usually tends to dislike a hero whose films have bombed but that won’t be the case with It’s My Life because Harman Baweja looks charming,” the source tells us.
“Adding to his charm are the excellent compositions of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and the choreography (Prabhu Devaa, Bosco and Raju Sundaram). The ‘Maharani of chicks’ song has been lavishly picturised in a palatial hotel of Jaipur and is a veritable audio-visual delight. The title song and the ‘Idiot’ number are also fast-paced while ‘Dheere se’ has lilt and melody.
It may be mentioned here that It’s My Life is a remake of the Telugu blockbuster, Bommarillu.

John replaces Harman in Chenaab Gandhi

Harman Baweja and John Abraham

What to do with these dates problems? Earlier stars had these problems but now even the newcomers have it. The role which was first supposed to be done by Harman Baweja has now gone to John Abraham due to Harman’s date problems. Harman is busy doing Ashutosh Gowarikar’s What’s Your Rashee? opposite Priyanka chopra these days. He has no dates whatsoever available for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Chenab Gandhi. Ultimately, the role has gone to John Abraham.

Bhansali had signed Harman for Chenab Gandhi since he was keen to work with the actor. Bhansali was also very happy with the look sitting that Harman had done for Chenab Gandhi. Bhansali is disappointed that Harman can’t be part of his film.
The sources revealed that first the film was scheduled to start in December, but later it get delayed and that caused problem with Harman’s dates. More to it Anees Bazmee’s film It’s My Life has taken longer than expected for which he is busy shooting right now. And now he can’t give dates for Sanjay as he has already committed them to Ashutosh. Shooting for Chenab Gandhi will start in April.
