The famous duo of Love Aaj Kal, Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone will work together in Illuminati Films. Illuminati Films is Saif’s home production with partner Dinesh Vijan.

Imtiaz Ali who had directed Love Aaj Kal has scripted this untitled movie. The movie will go on floors in April 2011 and will be shot in New Delhi, Spain and London. When asked Saif about this he says, “I was waiting for a script as contemporary and relevant as this is to come my way and I agree that this has been worth the wait. The story is funny, romantic and it has a perfect balance of entertainment and drama. I wanted to go for a love story with a modern treatment and sensibility.”

When asked about working with Deepika Padukone, the actor says, “I am looking forward for my pairing with her again. She has a great role and I think she has grown a lot post Love Aaj Kal and she will handle this role very well.”

Imtiaz’a earlier movies Socha Na Tha, Jab We Met and Love Aaj Kal all have delved on relationships about the various choices in life. This movie will be in the same space as Love Aaj Kal left off and the roller coasters from there.

Deepika considers Saif to be her favorite co-star and she has never played such a character before. She says, “To find a script like this, which is quirky and edgy, had an instant connect with me. This movie will also mark the reunion of the LAK team, with Saif, Dinesh and me. I am very excited to be working with Saif again, and I hope we can recreate the magic of LAK once again.”

Dinesh says, “At Illuminati films, Saif and I have always wanted to make projects with diverse genres and stories that we actually believed in. We want to take our time and make content, which the today’s well-exposed audience may like. Imtiaz has given us a beautiful story.”

The lady grabbed the highlights having an affair with Shahid Kapoor, before that, this beautiful Diva of bollywood had a soft corner for Hrithik Roshan but things could not move in a desired way due to papa Rakesh Roshan. Saif and Kareena go house hunting

A buzz is that, Saif and Kareena are looking for a bungalow in and around Bandra. Presently they are residing at Fortune Heights, they have an apartment on 10th floor. On the second floor, there is Saif’s production house. A source says that, the builder of the new building opposite the fortune heights is likely to sell the flats on a good price.

He wants to fetch a very handsome price for the flats that overlook specially the living room of this hot couple of bollywood! When Saif bought the pent house, it was most covered place in that area. He spent a lot of his time selecting this apartment for him. After Saif's coming, Kareena joined in and now there is another tall building overlooking their living area.

They are seriously hunting a house again. Kareena gives the reason, though they love their current home but the other building has cropped up and their privacy is compromised. She says that, her house has a good vibe but they cannot reside on the cost of their privacy.

It is worthwhile mentioning here that Saif will be appeared in Race-2, directed by Abbas-Mastan, his co-star is Anil Kapoor. Kareena will be seen in Ra-One, Golmaal-3, Judwaa-2 and Shaadi Ke Side Effects.

Saif And Kareena In Knight And Day Remake

Bollywood’s glam pair Saif and Kareena is not only well-liked at home but also abroad! The sizzling pair, who has been vying to work together ever since their movie ‘Agent Vinod’ has been put on indefinitely, has now been approached by Fox Star Studios with a whopping offer.And if everything falls in place, then soon, Saif and Kareena will be seen reprising the role of Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz in the desi remake of ‘Knight and Day’.

According to a source, the officials from the studio met the couple a few days ago. The source told a daily, “Saif was keen to do the remake of a Hollywood movie for quite some time and was already in talks with the production house.What’s more is that the production house held a screening of ‘Knight and Day’ and both Saif and Kareena liked the movie because of its genre, action-comedy. While talking about the same, Saif said, “We meet various people in the office – that’s what a production house does.

But Kareena and I have not met Fox Star together for a film.”Nevertheless, a source close to Fox Star said, “Yes, a meeting was called with Saif and Kareena”.

Saif Ali Khan ready with his 2nd production venture, ‘Agent Vinod’

Saif Ali Khan tasted immense success with his debut production venture ‘Love Aaj Kal’ which has left him full of positive energy and hopes. Now, Saif is all geared up for his second project which happens to be a spy thriller `Agent Vinod` directed by Sriram Raghavan and says the delayed project is very much on.

“A lot has been said about `Agent Vinod`, but we are very much on track. Final touches are being given to the script and at the end of March we should have the film on the floors,” says Saif.

Besides this movie, Saif is also keen to start with ‘Race 2’ and says “I definitely want to work on `Race 2`. To do a romantic comedy is also something that stands high up in my list, but then I am just waiting for a great script to come my way.”

Saif has given quite a few hits in his career and regards some of his movies as the right push for his career. He says, “I would think that `Hum Tum` was a definite milestone film in my career. Yes, there was `Kal Ho Na Ho` which was a good success as well, but then I was a second lead there. Soon followed `Salaam Namaste`, which further set the pace in my career. In the earlier years, `Yeh Dillagi` was definitely a landmark movie. Then came `Main Khiladi Tu Anari`, which again worked quite well for me. There were also `Kachche Dhaage` and `Kya Kehna` which were decent successes and then of course `Dil Chahta Hai` which was another landmark film.”

Saif feels that his career has been good and just the way he wanted. He adds, “Being Cyrus` was nice and offbeat too and then considering the kind of perception that people had for me, `Omkara` turned out to be huge as it showed quite some range. And now as we stand, I have a production like `Love Aaj Kal`. So, yeah, it`s not that bad after all.”

Katrina,Saif and Harman at Waves NGO meet

Recently Bollywood starlets Kareena KApoor, Saif Ali Khan and Hurman Baweja came together for Pearls Wave NGO meet. The trio supported the cause of the NGO which aims at highlighting the violence against women in India and putting an end to it.

Katrina Kaif who was present at the press meet said, “My mom is always involved with women charity. Today I am very happy to help this cause and will give something back to the society. Across the country we have NGOs and people who are willing to help those affected by violence and difficulties in their lives. It is our responsibility to make women aware of these facilities and tell them how to use it to fight abuse.”

Saif added, “Actors as role models, having responsibility towards society and should lend their support to causes like violence against women. We need to make people aware about it, if public opinion can be affected with our association we can contribute to it.”

Hurman also voiced his opinion saying, It’s a brave effort from the organization, equally important for men to understand and support the cause. There are organizations across the country working to spread this message, and together, it is our responsibility to spread the word against violence. It is our responsibility to stand up for women against violence. Don’t forget Men are only stronger in strength and women are in many other ways.”

The initiative is also supported by other Bollywood stars like Priyanka Chopra, Shahid Kapoor, Vidya Balan, Abhay Deol, Karan Johar and others.

According to Dubai based Ahlan Masala magazine, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan got engaged recently in a secret ceremony.

A column in the magazine reads, “It’s finally official Saifeena, the loved up IT couple of B’Wood have formalized their relationship by slipping on the rings. Insiders insists that Kareena, nearly 30 and Saif nearly, 42 have got engaged in a ceremony attended by close family and friends ONLY at the Pataudi Palace. This will be the second marriage for Saif and the first for Kareena.”

Saif: I too deserve Padma Shri

While some people, especially from Bishnoi Community went crying hoarse when Saif Ali Khan was awarded with Padma Shri. However Saif believes that he deserved Padma Shri and will live up to people’s expectations.

Saif said, “If you look at the awardees over the last couple of years, all of them have not exactly invented a nuclear bomb.”

Saif was acquitted few years ago for killing endangered animal – black bucks along with friend and actor Salman Khan.

Talking about his award Saif continues, “I do agree that there will be a few raised eyebrows because I am relatively younger and perhaps there are more deserving people out there.”
