Take two petty crooks (Sanjay Dutt and Akshaye Khanna), a mean gangster and his moll (Suniel Shetty and Neetu Chandra), a bumbling cop and his schizophrenic wife (Anil Kapoor and Sushmita Sen), a bimbette on the beach (Kangana Ranaut), a bank heist and a puppet in the hands of all these people (Paresh Rawal) and shake them all together in madcap measure...End result: a bunch of clueless people hunting for a cachet of stolen diamonds and relentlessly stepping on each other's toes.
Anees Bazmee is fast donning the mantle of the comedy king in commercial Bollywood. Having delivered big laugh riots like Singh is Kinng, Welcome and No Entry, Bazmee seems to be spinning box office magic in a style reminiscent of David Dhawan's oeuvre during the 1990s. There's a similar incoherence and a method in his madness as he spins implausible yarns that have just one objective. They want to tickle your funny bone, any which way, even if means throwing reason and logic out of the window. But hey, when did the desi box office ever bother about inanities like sense and sensibility. So go ahead and have a blast with a film that celebrates chaos and hopes to be the stress buster you have been looking for after a hectic twenty-tenner. And yes, don't forget your crispies because this one's meant to pop the corn with its crazy characters and its cornball humour. Leading the brat pack is Anil Kapoor who tries a desi Pink Panther with his foolish cop act. He may have the responsibility of nabbing all the criminals running around in sylvan South Africa, but rest assured his handcuffs -- meant for the bad guys -- are always going to hang loose on his hips and the bullets in his gun will never meet their target. Small wonder then, H@rdC0re robber Marco (Suniel Shetty) can barely stifle a yawn when the bumbling officer announces his arrival. But his foolishness elicits the best response from his wife, Sushmita Sen, who is torn between loving her husband or killing him for his stupidity. Her murderous bouts are the high point of the film, as are Paresh Rawal's attempts to set things right by setting them all wrong. Both Sanjay Dutt and Akshaye Khanna too seem to get their comic timing right as the goon buddys who are out to make a fast buck. Sadly, Kangana Ranaut's attempts to re-fashion her image from girl interrupted to giggly-headed beauty queen don't seem to have an edge.
The film does seem to be roughly edited in places and could do with some nips and tucks. Even the music (Sajid Wajid, Pritam, Anand Raj Anand) doesn't have the chartbuster flavour of the Singh is Kinng audio track. But rest assured, No Problem will make you forget your problems, provided you are willing to get goofy and give up your quest for meaning in masala.
Honestly, one isn't overtly enthusiastic about checking out what exactly does No Problem have in store. It doesn't boast of a quintessential hero-heroine fare. Also, since it is an Anees Bazmee film, it isn't meant to be relying on music as it's USP as the story telling by itself is expected to bring in the audience. Moreover, the earlier promos of the film haven't quite placed music on the forefront. Add to that the fact that three set of composers - Pritam, Sajid-Wajid and Anand Raaj Anand - come together to get the album in place means one is further apprehensive about what really is in store here.
As it turns out, the opening song No Problem doesn't quite turn out to the best attraction that the title track of a film is supposed to offer. Coming from the same school of music as the title track of Welcome, this one does have a catchy rhythm to it with Wajid, Suzzane Demello, Khurram Iqbal, Bhishak Jyoti, Kamal Khan, Suganda Mishra and Altamash Faridi teaming up behind the mike. However, it somehow ends up being 'heard today, forgotten tomorrow' kind of a track. Yes, if the film ends up doing tremendously well at the box office, this song written by Shabbir Ahmed and put to tune by Sajid-Wajid can expect a decent recall value for it. However, unless that happens, this title track would have to make way for other songs in the album. The album picks up miraculously with the arrival of 'Shakira', a fun number where the focus is on the leading ladies (Sushmita Sen, Kangna) ending up being far more enticing in their moves when compared to none other than Shakira. While Hard Kaur kick starts the song with her rap, Master Salim and Kalpana come together to get an authentic Punjabi flavour to this Pritam composition, hence making Kumaar written 'Shakira' a definite chartbuster in the making. The song, which also has a 'remix version' for itself has a distinct Pritam stamp to it and makes one wonder that why wasn't this celebration track the first to come on air.
Energy of the album continues to be on a rise with 'Babe Di Kripa' being the next to come. This one is akin to listening to two songs with Kalpana bringing on a Western rendition while new find Vikrant Singh brings on a hardcore Punjabi element. Yet another celebration track written by Kumaar, this one is not just foot tapping but also is noticeable for the way Vikran goes about singing this one. An original voice which is not quite an imitation of any other established singer, Vikrant does quite well in 'Babe Di Kripa' which should work well, especially up North with it's 'remix version' expected to find it's way into the DJ's collection.
Surprisingly, just when No Problem was reaching its peak comes a low in the form of 'We Are Innocent' which turns out to be totally wannabe. In fact after doubly checking the credit details, you are shocked to know that the man at the helm of affairs is none other than Pritam himself. His tune sounds like belonging to the world of late 80s/early 90s when such campus tracks like these were in the vogue. A forgettable track which is sung by Suraj Jagan and written by Kumaar, it tries to be all cool and fun but falls flat.
Thankfully it is the unusual suspect Anand Raj Anand who comes to the rescue with 'Mast Punjabi', third Punjabi based track in a row after 'Shakira' and 'Babe Di Kripa'. Does it work? Oh of course yes, as it turns out to be a highly addictive celebration track that gets hooked on to you in the first listening itself. In fact hearing this song (which comes again in a 'remix' version) makes you believe that Anand Raaj Anand needs inspiration to come up with a song belonging to the chartbuster variety since 'Mast Punjabi' is definitely one instance where he has delivered well. In fact he plays a triple role of a composer, lyricist as well as singer here with company from Sunishi Chauhan.
As stated earlier, there weren't many expectations from the music of No Problem. However, it ends up throwing a pleasant surprise with three of it's songs - 'Shakira', 'Mast Punjabi' and 'Babe Di Kripa' ensuring that there are enough foot tapping elements in the album. All that the makers have to do now is get aggressive on each of these three songs. Moreover, if the film turns out to be a huge success, these songs will have a greater distance to travel for sure.

The DNA After Hrs Style awards were held on Wednesday February 17th which witnessed the presence of the country’s beautiful people come together under one roof. The awards were presented by Volkswagen at The Intercontinental, the Lalit. The panel of judges comprised of filmmaker Karan Johar, designer Manish Malhotra, supermodel Ujjwala Raut and author and columnist Shobhaa De. There were over 20 awards in various categories.

Sushmita officially became a mother again when Bombay high court gave her the rights to adopt four-month-old Alisah.
An elated Sushmita said, ” After the court’s new ruling, it is now possible to adopt two girls. It is a big day for me. Today Alisah is officially mine.”
DULHA MIL GAYA is a mix of films. Like they say in filmi lingo, it's old wine in new bottle. So what? How different can a love story be, since this genre has been done to death in Bollywood? Point noted, but the narrative ought to be engaging if it has to strike a chord and that's where DULHA MIL GAYA falters.
Merely assembling A-listers and filming the movie at panoramic locations isn't enough. The film ought to have meat and that's missing here.
Let me elaborate. Debutante director Mudassar Aziz, who has also penned the script, borrows from the past, going for the tried-and-tested stuff, but the narrative, already low on fuel, comes to a grinding halt by the time it reaches its finale.
Donsai [Fardeen Khan], a young commitment-phobic debonair, is petrified with terms like marriage and long-term relationships. Samarpreet [Ishita Sharma] is a quintessential Punjabi girl, for whom relationships are to be cherished. Shimmer [Sushmita Sen] is a diva from the world of glamour for whom love and relationships aren't important in life as independence and success are. Pawan Raj Gandhi/PRG [Shah Rukh Khan] is a suave multi-millionaire whose heart still remains larger than his bank balance and for whom winning love is the only victory there is.
When paths cross for these four characters, they not only land up influencing each other with their outlook on relationships, but also get influenced themselves and learn a whole new meaning of the term.
Something that got ignited with D.D.L.J. continues to shimmer to this date. Our stories continue to travel from firangi land to the fields of Punjab. DULHA MIL GAYA too does that [initially], beforeMY FAIR LADY and RAB NE BANA DI JODI take over.
To give the credit where it's due, DULHA MIL GAYA has some interesting moments, but the problem is they are few and far between. One expects things to perk up when SRK's character is introduced [in the post-interval portions], but your hopes go crashing as nothing worthy of note occurs.
The writing has gaping flaws, which are difficult to absorb after a point. The girl travels all the way from Punjab to Trinidad and Tobago, but not once do her concerned parents call to enquire how she is. Strangely, even the girl doesn't feel the need to inform them. If that's not enough, Sushmita takes upon herself to tame Fardeen, giving you the impression that she thinks from her heart. But when it comes to her relationship with Shah Rukh, she behaves in a rather odd manner. SRK, on the other hand, seems completely besotted by her, even though she never reciprocates his feelings. Hence, her somersault in the end - just because Ishita has given her some bhashan - doesn't look convincing.
Mudassar Aziz's direction is a shade better than his writing. And that's not saying much. Given the fact that newer stories are being attempted in these fast-changing times and in view of the fact that he had some of the best talents on board, Mudassar should've seized the opportunity and told a refreshingly different and absorbing tale. But he doesn't. Sure, a few sequences are clever and smart, but that's not enough.
The music is of a mixed variety. 'Akela Dil' is groovy, while the title track is strictly okay. Cinematography is appealing.
Sushmita excels in a role that demands her to be hoity-toity. She enacts her part effortlessly. One wishes to see her more often on the big screen! Fardeen does a good job, especially towards the end when he's about to confess something vital to Ishita. Ishita delivers a sincere performance. It's a pity that a superstar like Shah Rukh is terribly wasted in an inconsequential role. It may not go down well with his fans.
Mohit Chadha has screen presence, but gets no scope. Johny Lever is wasted. Ditto for Tara Sharma. Suchitra Pillai and Howard Rosemeyer are passable. Parikshit Sahni, Bina Kak and Viveck Vaswani are as usual.
Sushmita Sen always wanted to adopt another child. The Bengali Beauty has always believed in living life on her own terms and conditions. Sushmita Sen has one adopted daughter Renee. Recently, Sushmita adopted a baby girl she says, “I am feeling on top of the world. I have named her Alisah, which in Greek means joyful. She is a very happy child. She will win you over in one minute.”
Renee and Alisah slept together in Renee’s room for first few weeks. Sushmita says, “that was Renee’s condition. Now, however, Alisah has a room of her own.” Sush just cannot stop shopping for her, she said, “you have to see Alisah’s room. It is like a play van.”
According to Sushmita, Alisah is a calm and peaceful baby. Therefore, Sush will not come across the stage where she would have to wake up in the night for her crying baby. When asked her, that was she looking for a younger sister for Renee? She said, “of course. But you know what, I wanted to be a mother all over again. Motherhood is very special. I was thinking about it for a very long time, but there was some ruling problem with High Court.”
Sushmita said that the previous High Court rules were, if you have already adopted a baby girl, then you could not adopt another girl. However, three months back, High Court changed the rules. She says, “You can’t imagine how happy I was after hearing that. Honestly, I was over the moon. I am still over the moon.”
Dulha Mil Gaya Music Album is surprisingly a super hit album with not even a single dull track. Features the major acclaimed singers including Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghosal, Daler Mehndi and many others. Each song is equally good and the lyrics are worked upon well, although some songs might remind you of something similar heard before. But neverthless, the music directors - Lalit Pandit deserve special recognition.
This one is a voluminous album and the first track to come is 'Akela Dil' that has a groove similar to that of 'Gela Gela Dil Gela Gela' (Aitraaz). An unmistakable calypso rhythm is on the fore front here too, given the fact that the film is set in the Caribbean. Adnan Sami gets into an intoxicated and relaxed mood as per the demand of the situation and gets his own lazy style in place to sing 'Akela Dil' that has Anushka Manchanda giving able support. This is a kind of track that should add on to the visual appeal of the film. It's 'remix version' adds on the zing and should find a place in the clubs and discotheques.
Shiri farhad tu meri shiri is sung by the energetic Neeraj Shridhar but even he cannot salvage this banal song. Next, please!
Dulha mil gaya has shades of Mar jaani and is a watered-down version of that song. If you were wondering where Daler Mehndi was all along, he is back and infuses an unmatched energy into this song. It is catchy and can become quite popular especially because of the wedding season. It isn’t a memorable track, however!
Dilrubaon ke jalwe is a qawalli and an attempt to recreate SRK and Sush’s chemistry from Tumse milke from Main Hoon Na. You don’t want to stick around till it is over.

The album opens with Akela dil sung by Anushka and Adnan Sami, both wasted in the tuneless, wannabe hip-hop track that goes on forever. Everything in the song seems forced! The incessant clapping, guitar tunes and ‘nanana’ get on your nerves.A song by Adnan Sami, very similar to one of the songs from the film ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’ in terms of music and the way he sang it. But still very entertaining.
2. Aaja Aaja Mera Ranjhna
Aaja mera ranjhana is your typical 90's wedding song. You can even imagine the red and gold costumes everyone will wear and their dance moves. It brings back memories of Saajan ji ghar aaye from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Listen to that instead.
3. Magar Meri Jaan
Magar meri jaan sounds like something you’ve heard before which is why it is tolerable. It tries too hard to be upbeat and rapturous. Song features Sonu Nigam, with that said the song already claims to be a hit. The slow notes are mesmerizing as compared to main stanza (mukhra) of this song which is just OK. Salsa themed ‘Magar Meri Jaan’ is contemporary time pass song. Anushka Manchanda, the singer does an exceptional job.
4. Tu Jo Jaan Le
Tu jo jaan le is the standard Sonu Nigam song. The piano and guitars are pretty good and Sonutakes the song a few notches higher.
5. Rang Diya Dil
Rang diya dil is the kind of Amrita Rao would be part of. Imagine a girl waiting in the village for her lover and praying to the moon. So it is typical and very 90's. We have heard this type of songs, way too many times in the times but no credits snatched from the singer Shreya Ghosal. Her voice adds a wonderful feel to this song.
6. Dulha Mil Gaya Daler Mehndi is back with another super hit. Lyrics seems to be out, straight from his heart. Total dance party track.
7. Dilrubaon Ke Jalwe The effort that went to this song is tremendous. All thanks to lyrics writer and singers for giving us a classic qawwali themed song.
8. Shiri Farhad Tu Meri Shiri Not want to criticize this song about being another duplicate. But the resemblance cannot be ignored.
Remixes Out of the 3 Remixes only the ‘Dilrubaon Ke Jalwe’ looks genuinely worked upon. Rest are just fast paced songs with non matching music.

There’s nothing happening on the Dulha Mil Gaya front. With no shooting taking place, the Sushmita-Mudassar relationship has only soured further. The film has been in the making for three years now and is showing no sign of completion. This has further dashed Mudassar’s hope of having any kind of interaction with Sushmita.
When contacted to Mudassar, he commented indirectly and said, “Somebody’s imagination is working overtime due to lack of work in times of recession. God bless them.”

Sush has lost weight and looks more graceful than ever before. Her new fit and well toned look is extremely impressive that it was hard to imagine that the same Sush was criticized few months back for her plump figure.There are also news that she has not shelved her dream project the mega budgeted historical war epic Rani Laxmi Bai , contrary to reports. Reportedly, Sushmita was planning to go in for a co-production of the project with legendary filmmaker Manmohan Desai sharing the humungous Rs. 130 crore budget. With recession creeping in most of Bollywood's big projects, this is indeed a huge risk.Sushmita is indeed un – conventional and bindaas!!! Needless to say after shading oodles of weight this bong babe is looking much younger also.
Just when everyone was talking about Sushmita Sen and Bunty Sachdeva, it seems new rumours are now floating that Sushmita is dating her director of Dulha Mil Gaya Mudassar Aziz whom she has known for quite a while.
A source claims “Sushmita and Mudassar have been dating ever since she broke up with Bunty about a month ago. They have known each other for a long time and of late the friendship has blossomed into romance. They have been spotted going out together often.”
Mudassar though says “I am very fond of Sushmita as an actor. We are very good friends. We share a great rapport but it’s not a romantic association.”
He also admits that they have gone out together but he claims it was perhaps to discuss work.
Mudassar will be directing Sushmita in ‘Dulha Mil Gaya’ which also stars Shah Rukh Khan and Fardeen Khan .
